What Is the Assisted Bin Collection Service?

The Assisted Bin Collection Service is designed for residents who find it difficult to move their waste bins to the kerbside due to health, disability or mobility issues. Instead of expecting you to bring the bin out yourself, the council team will collect it from a more accessible spot on your property and return it afterwards. It’s a simple adjustment that can make a big difference to daily independence.

Who Can Apply?

You may be eligible if:

• You have a medical condition, disability or mobility issue that makes handling your bins difficult.

• You are a permanent resident at the address where the service is needed.
