MEET THE TEAM
Extraordinary care, delivered by extraordinary people
Every member of our Evergreen team plays a vital role in changing lives — from the staff out in the community offering hands‑on support, to the dedicated office team keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Their compassion, professionalism, and commitment shine through in every phone call, every visit, and every act of care. Together, they create a service that truly uplifts older people and strengthens our community in ways that matter every day.

Founder
Louise Marsh
Louise began her career as a nurse, specialising in gerontology and geriatrics while working in Australia. After moving to Britain, she continued her work in both the private sector and the NHS in Scotland before settling in Lincolnshire with her twin daughters. There, she studied Health and Social Care with the Open University and later joined the Social Services Older People’s Team. In May 2005, driven by a deep commitment to dignity and compassionate care, Louise partnered with a group of Churches Together volunteers to establish the Evergreen Care Trust — creating the services she knew the local community urgently needed but did not yet have.

Evergreen relies on the generosity of around 100 Friends who give regularly, enabling us to offer vital services that are free‑of‑charge but not free‑of‑cost. Ian’s role is to ensure every contribution is warmly appreciated and to keep our Friends connected to the impact they make — from advocacy and social interaction to meals, transport, DIY, cleaning and decluttering.
