Christmas at evergreen
Spreading festive cheer around Stamford, Bourne & Deeping
A time for family & friends
Christmas is often a time of joy, celebration and togetherness but for many older people who are housebound or without family, it can also be deeply isolating. That’s why our team and volunteers at Evergreen work hard to ensure no one feels alone during the winter season.
We run fundraisers throughout the year to support our services, host festive events for our members and volunteers, and partner with organisations across Stamford, Bourne & Deeping to bring a little extra cheer to those who need it most. Take a look at what's to come this festive seson:

Looking for other ways to support us this christmas?
At Evergreen, we welcome contributions big and small, especially during the winter months when many older adults feel most isolated. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to support your local community this Christmas, here are a few ways you can help:
volunteer
Join us as a helping hand and make someone’s day a little brighter. We’re always looking for friendly faces to help deliver festive gift boxes, support our weekly free meal deliveries, or lend a hand setting up at events.
partnerships
We love working with local businesses who support our festive events and help us reach more older adults across Stamford, Bourne and Deeping. Whether you’d like to host a fundraiser like an office Christmas Jumper Day, have your staff volunteer with us for a day, or partner with us to deliver something special to our members, your support makes a real difference.
Donate
At Evergreen, we welcome donations of any kind, especially during the winter months when our support is needed most. Financial contributions help us sustain our services for older adults across Stamford, Bourne and Deeping, while item donations bring comfort and joy to those we support.
In the past, our community has gifted knitted blankets, books, and items for raffles and fundraisers, all of which help us brighten someone’s day.
