Why you should volunteer in the community:
Volunteering can have a real and valuable positive affect on people, communities and society in general.
Volunteering can help you feel part of something outside your friends and family.
Day 5- Volunteering can help you in four key areas:
Helps you to meet new people and form new relationships. Volunteering gives you the opportunity to practice and develop your social skills, by working with people with common interests.
By giving you the chance to try something new and achieving a goal you can gain confidence
As a Volunteer it can help you learn new skills, gain experience and sometimes even qualifications.
Volunteer is good for your body and mind in that provides you with a sense of purpose helping your community and reduces the feeling of anxiety and stress through working with others.
Its fun to do. You work with some incredible people and accomplish something.
