Miranda Rock
Patron

Miranda Rock is House Director of Burghley House which has been a family home for over 400 years. The house and estate are now owned and maintained by the Burghley House Preservation Trust and as well as hosting events, welcomes visitors on a daily basisto the house and gardens. Miranda lives at Burghley with her husband and their four children. She is involved with many local charities in Stamford and has a particular interest in supporting children with special educational needs. She is a Deputy Lieutenant for Cambridgeshire and a Governor of Stamford Endowed Schools. Miranda is a resolute supporter of the work of the Evergreen Care Trust.

  • Louise Marsh
    Founding Trustee

    Louise trained as a nurse and specialised in gerontology and geriatrics in Australia.  When living in Scotland she worked in the private nursing home sector and Scotland NHS.  After moving to Lincolnshire with her twin daughters, Louise studied health and social care with the Open University before joining Social Services Older Persons team.  Louise actively promotes the value of partnership and communities working together at grass root level to best support local people in need.

  • Pamela Dixon
    Trustee

    Soon after their arrival in Stamford in 2005 to take up the Rev. Clive Dixon's appointment as curate at All Saints, Pamela and Clive became ardent supporters of the Evergreen vision. Together they embraced, encouraged and supported efforts to establish and build care and support for older and vulnerable people who seemed to be falling through the net.  Pamela remains a vital member of the Evergreen taskforce; as well as serving as a Board member she serves as the Clean Team Lead for Stamford.

  • Dr Katy Hardy
    Trustee

    Katy expressed her interest and support of the vision and work of the Evergreen Care Trust at an early stage of its development and became a great encourager to those who were breaking new ground and developing services that had not previously existed.  Katy promotes the work of the Trust amongst the General Practice surgeries in Stamford.  Katy is married to Harry and they have two children.

  • Derek Rise
    Trustee

    Derek has been an Evergreen volunteer since February 2016 and a Trustee since September 2017.   He is a retired qualified accountant (ACMA). Prior to retiring Derek worked for BT for 34 years mainly in Audit & Finance and then at Peterborough Regional College for 7 years as Director of Financial Services up to March 2007.
    Derek’s main interests within the home and family are DIY, computing and gardening.  Derek lives in Langtoft and is a Trustee and Treasurer of Citizens Advice Peterborough and has links with other local charitable organisations

  • Nicolas Bertrand
    Trustee

    Nic has worked for Cummins Generator Technologies since 2006 and is in charge of all direct purchasing operations for the power generation business unit.  He has teams across the world who manage purchase and supplies.  He has three amazing children Amelie, Isabella and Hugo.  Nic loves watching movies, theatre, and reading but his real fix is outdoor sports, running, cross country, swimming, cycling and, of course, putting them together into a triathlon.

  • Nick Adams
    Trustee

    Mr. Nick is a native of England, although he spent much of his early years growing up in Germany. He attended the University of Reading where he earned his bachelor of science in animal science and is a graduate of the Alltech Advanced Management program run in conjunction withUniversity College Dublin - Michael Smurfit School of Business, Ireland.

     

    He has very much enjoyed being a part of the Evergreen Board of Trustees over the past two years, supporting the team doing such good work in the community
