The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the Independent Regulator of Health and Adult Social Care in England. Their role is to make sure that registered health and social care agencies provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, responsive, and well led care services.
The CQC hold to account all health and social care providers, working to a set of fundamental standards and regulations. The CQC actively encourages providers to aspire to high standards and best practice and to work towards constant improvement. The CQC is particularly committed to ensuring the safety and safeguarding of both service users and front line carers. The Commission regularly inspects registered providers and respond to service user concerns and complaints. The CQC offer guidance as to what a service user and or their family/carers can expect from a good service provider. The Evergreen Care Trust registered with the Care Quality Commission ID provider No. 1-3580757231 in May 2017. Louise Marsh was the then Registered Care Manager. In the Trust’s first initial inspection, we were rated as GOOD for Safe, Effective, Caring and Responsive, we rated OUTSTANDING for Well-Led. The Trust continues to strive for excellence in all we do, for the benefit of those we serve and for the team who provide the front line care and support.
