Evergreen are so excited to be putting the sparkle back into Christmas with a fantastic prize draw, which gives you the change to win 25 amazing prizes worth a total of over £5000. WOW I hear you say!!

Treat yourself to a ticket and you could win 25 amazing prizes including a week’s accommodation in Cyprus, the chance to drive an Aston Martin at Silverstone, an interior design consultation and so many more fantastic prizes.

There really is something for everyone in this fantastic prize selection — from hair and beauty vouchers at local salons to a fast food voucher worth £100! Plus, the money for each ticket you treat yourself helps towards treating an elderly member in our community to a gift this Christmas. 


The Evergreen Christmas Cracker is an exciting Christmas draw that will run every day throughout December. A winning ticket will be drawn each day in December and as every winning ticket is returned to the draw, supporters have the chance to win over and over again.

Our aim is for this festive campaign to raise money to treat around 200 lonely elderly people in our community to a thoughtful gift,” explains Rosie Maclennan, Evergreen’s Marketing Manager. “What’s more, in reaching out to them, Evergreen can ensure they benefit from the charity’s caring services that seek to improve welfare and wellbeing."

“Evergreen is aiming to raise the general consciousness about older people, encouraging every family to think about older relatives, friends and neighbours who might feel isolated at this time of year.”

Tickets will soon be available in selected shops in Stamford, at Sowden Wallis Estate Agents who have kindly offered to draw our winner each day, and other businesses from October 10, as well as from the Evergreen Care Trust headquarters on Barnack Road of course.

Tickets are priced at just £5 each. As from 29 November, ahead of the start of the Christmas Cracker draw, tickets will only be on sale in one selected venue in Stamford as well as at the Evergreen HQ.

Evergreen has secured the support of three key local businesses to enable this exciting project to get off the ground. They are Sowden Wallis Estate Agents, Barchester Homes and Warners Printers of Bourne.

Stamford Christmas Cracker (SCC) Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions refer to Stamford Christmas Cracker. The project is owned and managed by Evergreen Care Trust. CIO No 1158271


Stamford Christmas Cracker is a daily raffle (draw) done on each day between the 1st – 25th December 2017. The project will be marketed in the form of a virtual advent calendar. Each door on the advent calendar will have been sponsored by a local business having kindly donated a prize worth over £75. The draw will take place every day of December from 1st December to 25th December 2017.


The cost of each ticket is £5. You may purchase more than one ticket at any one time. Payment to enter the draw must be made in advance of any of the draw dates which are every day 1st – 25th December 2017.

The actual draw and subsequent draws commence on the 1st December and end on the 25th December.

Your ticket or tickets purchased qualify from the 1st December, or if you have purchased after this date they qualify from the date you purchased the ticket in December until the 24th December 2017.

If your ticket is drawn on any of the days between 1st December – 23rd December you will win the prize allocated on that date, additionally your ticket will be placed back into the draw giving you the chance to win a further prize more than once or multiple times. For example, if you win on the 2nd December you have a further 23 chances to win another prize.

Tickets can be purchased from the 4th October 2017 from Sowdens Estate Agents Evergreen events, some local retailers and the Evergreen Care Trust Office, Shyp House, 1 Barnack Road, Stamford, PE9 2NA.

Participation in this raffle can be made by returning ticket stubs in the post with appropriate payment (cheque payable to Evergreen Care Trust or credit/debit card details) or through the website with payment by credit or debit card, where entries will be notified by email of their ticket numbers.

Draw tickets will be entered into the draw only when the whole payment is received.

Evergreen Care Trust accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.

Any ticket entries received after the closing date/time of 24th December 11pm will miss entry into the draw and therefore will be considered as a donation to Evergreen Care Trust.

All ticket draws will be drawn by a representative of Evergreen Care Trust, a sponsor of SCC or a staff member of Sowden Wallis. All tickets will be folded to guarantee complete genuineness.

Any tickets that have not been fully completed identifying the ticket owner will not be entered into the draw.

One prize per day from the 1st December to the 25th December will be announced initially on the Evergreen website. All winners will be personally notified by an Evergreen representative or the sponsor of the prize.  

The result of the draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into. The prize is as described only. There is no cash alternative.

Please keep the ticket/s or allocated number as proof of purchase.

Where Evergreen Care Trust is unable to contact a prize-winner and a prize remains unclaimed for six months following Evergreen Care Trust’s attempts to notify the prize-winner, Evergreen Care Trust may apply the prize as it sees fit, including re-offering the prize in future raffles /draws.

All winners are required to co-operate with Evergreen Care Trust’s right to publish their win as and where deemed appropriate, and to provide proof of age when requested.

In the event of an error, howsoever caused, whether a printing error or otherwise and whether obvious or otherwise, which affects the competition in any way, the organisers reserve the right to administer the raffle as though the error had not occurred. Where the organisers deem it appropriate and/or feasible, Evergreen Care Trust will notify entrants of the error.

Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the disqualification of the entry. Evergreen Care Trust reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.

The Promoter’s decision in all matters relating to the draw is final. The Promoter operates a complaints and disputes procedure which is available  by post on request or upon you making a complaint by telephone to the Evergreen Office  01780 765900. All complaints and disputes will be handled in accordance with the procedure.

Monies raised by this draw will support the free services of Evergreen Care Trust registered charity number 1158271.

No tickets can be sold to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 years.

Outlets and businesses selling tickets or gifting tickets to staff must not knowingly sell to a person under the age of 18 years. If at any time in doubt the person in question should be asked to produce ID verifying age.

The closing date and time for the last draw is 11am on the 24th December 2017.
