Home Support Workers

There are opportunities in both Stamford and Bourne for those wishing to become Home Support Workers providing support in peoples' homes.  The domestic, laundry and shopping service operates Monday to Friday and Well-Being visits seven days a week.

This is a paid for position. Minimum commitment of 3 working days per week (18 hours) and includes a commitment to work at least one weekend in four (Well-Being visits only). Uniform provided. Mandatory Induction and ongoing training provided.

Hot & Wholesome Cook

The Trust is recruiting a Hot & Wholesome Cook to provide a wholesome, nutritious three course lunch (homemade soup, main course and sweet) for adults experiencing periods of vulnerability. Meals prepared and served in former sheltered housing accommodation in Stamford. Supported by a small team of volunteers to help with serving, clearing between courses and clearing up at the end of the meal.

This is a paid position, working two days per week, with the opportunity to cover for leave at other venues. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate required and experience in cooking for up to 30 people. Applicants should be able to work under pressure, within a timeframe and able to relate well to the volunteers and diners.

Relief Cooks

Hot & Wholesome Delivery Cooks

We are recruiting Hot & Wholesome Delivery Cooks who can provide wholesome, nutritious and tasty soups and two pieces of home baking (one savoury and one sweet).  Soup will be prepared in the Clare Close former sheltered housing complex kitchen (SKDC) and delivered in thermos flasks by volunteers. The baking will be wrapped and packed and placed into individual small carrier bags provided.

These are paid positions. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate required and experience in cooking for up to 20 people. Applicants should be able to work under pressure, within a timeframe and able to relate to the volunteers.
